Being the first Cafe in Melbourne to roast their own coffee in house, Atomica had made a name for themselves. They had an image which was good, it just needed a little tweek and an update. They needed a brandmark touch up and branding that could be applied accross their packaging and a website refresh.
Our design team knew they wanted an update but needed to still represent the heart and soul of Atomica. We looked deep into their history and what their business represented. We also needed to establish their target audience, which was wide, as who doesn’t like coffee?
We started with the original brandmark and played around with the elements. We wanted to experiment and finesse the design and to give it a more modern feel, without losing the original well established look and feel. Our team used our research into the meaning of Atomica, which was family and pride, to create well defined branding guidelines.
We worked together as a team to present a refreshed brandmark that Atomica now uses on packaging, signage, social media and collateral. We gave them a fresh new website that truly represents Atomica Coffee.
