The Idea

The Lygon Food Store had been open in Melbourne for over 70 years and was a long standing part of  history. They needed a brand refresh to attract new customers.

Research

We really needed to show this business a lot of respect as it had earned it! We researched their audience, their heritage and their history. Our design team needed a way to build a brand that respected their values and history but appealed to a wide range of customers.

Design

The design team chose to use imagery from the historical pages of Lygon Food Store to pay homage to the many years of success, while pairing it with a classic brandmark and a rich red colour. The branding would be rolled out over packaging, window signage and more!
